Stair tread is the horizontal part of the step that a person will stand on, and along with the riser, is an integral part of a staircase 

The main purpose of stair nosing is to increase the safety of your stairs. Stair nosing slightly increases the surface area which helps to reduce the risk of missing a step or losing your footing while going up or down 

T-Mold is a decorative molding used to transition your engineered hardwood floor between two surfaces that are equal in height. This floor transition molding is often used in thresholds between two rooms with the same floor 

Reducer is when a hard surface meets up with surface that's lower in height. For example: hardwood meeting up with vinyl. T-molding: T-moldings are used to transition two floors of equal height. It can also be used when the flooring continues in through a doorway or passageway to another room. 

 Panel and base cap moldings are two decorative elements that provide a polished appearance for any room. Panel molding is a raised trim that is installed directly on walls to create a three-dimensional look. Base cap goes on top of baseboard moldings for a complex, layered trim. 

 Quarter round is another moulding style typically paired with baseboards to cover up gaps and imperfections between the base and the floor. As such, it essentially has the same purpose as shoe moulding. However, this style of moulding is always shaped like a quarter of a circle, hence the name
